The compiled build of PrisFlex now builds completely, and the release tools compile the copy that ships, not only the developers' copy.

An update can replace a readable part of PrisFlex with its compiled form, or the other way round. The old form is kept in the update's backup, so a failed update puts it back.

The release tools can now build a copy of PrisFlex compiled to machine code, which is much harder to copy or change. Mods and helper programs stay as they are.
The PrisFlex you install is still the readable one; the compiled one comes before the store opens.

The title you just watched moves to the front of Continue Watching on Home, in the web page and in the PrisFlex App. A show offers its next episode, a movie you stopped part-way offers its new resume point, and finished titles leave the row.
Fixed: the PrisFlex App in a browser at home stays signed in when the browser clears the page's data.

Settings → General → License says “Free”, not “Free · Free”, for an install without a license.

The License page shows your plan (Free, Remote Pass or PrisFlex Pass), when it ends and what each plan opens. Nothing is locked yet: every feature stays open until the PrisFlex store opens.
A license is a small signed file checked on your own computer without going online, so playing at home never depends on the internet. A subscription keeps working for a grace period after it ends; a lifetime license never ends.

The Live TV step now names a TV tuner inside or plugged into the computer, such as a USB tuner, as well as the tuners it finds on your network. It only reads Windows' list of devices, so a recording isn't disturbed.

A backup's README says where a mod's own data file goes back when you restore.
The memory report in the log names the library database's caches by their usual place again.

A mod can keep its own tables in its own database file. The first start moves them safely: the library database is copied first, each table is copied and its rows counted before the original is removed, and a move that stops partway finishes at the next start.
Backups include the mods' data files.

System → Page Speed no longer counts a busy moment just after a restart as a slow page. The daily timing waits until PrisFlex has run 35 minutes, and a slow page is timed again a minute later.
A new install no longer creates Import from Plex's device file until you use Import from Plex.

A new install keeps its data in its own folder, so an install without administrator rights works.
The setup wizard's Away From Home step no longer says remote access is still being built.
Setup no longer stops at a warning printed while it installs packages.

PrisFlex-Setup.exe installs PrisFlex for the person signed in to Windows. It needs no administrator rights and brings its own Python, so nothing else has to be on the PC first. PrisFlex downloads FFmpeg the first time it starts.
Setup can start PrisFlex when you sign in and add a desktop shortcut. Windows' Apps list uninstalls it, and your settings and data are kept.
Fixed: uninstalling one copy of PrisFlex no longer touches another copy on the same PC.

Insights → Encoding's daily chart counts days on the calendar, so the weeks after the clocks go back show every day and full totals.

Play → Music no longer briefly shows another music library's album covers.
Mods plug into PrisFlex by themselves: PrisFlex finds a mod's settings, messages and translations without knowing it by name.

In the PrisFlex App's Settings, TV Show Theme Music now steps through Off, 33%, 66% and 100%. The new default is 66%; a TV that had themes off keeps them off.
The start-up screen is shorter: it shows the average start time.

The address service's main page at away.prisflex.com now says what the service is and links to prisflex.com, instead of “not found”.
Mod pages load the same way for every mod.

Signing out now needs PrisFlex's own Logout button, so another website can no longer sign you out with a plain link.
System → Status → About on a mod's own address shows the mod's version and history.

When a VPN forwards your port on another of its server's addresses, PrisFlex now tells prisflex.com that address too, so your away address points to the right place.
System → Page Speed's daily timing waits until 3 a.m., away from the night's work.
The log no longer reports a phone browser's own scripts as PrisFlex errors.

PrisFlex starts only as prisflex.py: the Startup shortcut, the scheduled task and the watchdog all use it.
Convert All to EPUB tries a comic or scanned PDF once more if the AI tools stop for a moment.

Convert All to EPUB now converts scanned PDFs too. Each page stays a picture, and its words are read on your computer (OCR), so Read Aloud can read them and turn the pages.
The PDF goes to the Trash in its book folder, so it can be restored.

Browsers that signed in before PrisFlex renamed its sign-in cookies stay signed in.

PrisFlex also trusts the standard list of root certificates that comes with its packages, so a site whose root certificate Windows hadn't fetched yet now opens. Certificates are still checked as before.
